Tentative Date: December 21, 2012 – January 2, 2013.

I’ve been to Luzon and Visayas via motorbike. How about Mindanao this time?

  1. Sir good day,

Can i kindly ask what route did you take going to lucena dalhican port. I have checked other blogs discussing the antipolo-tanay-manila east road-laguna option to be the best route. However i was informed that pagsanjan bridge enroute to cavinti is currently in rehabilitation and is due to open in 1 year time. any alternative route you can recommend? hoping to hear from you soon.

    • That is also a possible route, however, for me the best one (although a bit more dangerous) is the route via Tiaong, Quezon.

Coming from Manila, take the old National highway in Laguna passing San Pedro, Binan, Sta Rosa, Cabuyao then Calamba, then after Calamba take the highway (turn right in Calamba) going to Sto. Tomas, Batangas then to San Pablo, Laguna to Tiaong, Quezon. Once you reach Tiaong, turn left on the Bypass road (Total Gas station) which will take you to the main provincial highway connecting Quezon and Bicol. So After Tiaong, you’ll have an easy time passing the towns (Candelaria – Sariaya) in Quezon up to Lucena. After you reach the Lucena town proper you’ll see SM City Lucena, just go straight (or ask the tricycle drivers just to have a quick check) and it will lead you to the Lucena Port.

      Hope this helps!
